You&nbsp;are&nbsp;to play alone, without accompaniment.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At the beginning of your video,&nbsp;state&nbsp;your first and last name and the instrument you are playing. If you have a scheduling conflict, please communicate with the director to see if it can be approved or if another ensemble might work.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Recording Process Instructions<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You will not need anything more advanced than a smartphone to record. You&nbsp;are&nbsp;to play alone, without accompaniment.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At the beginning of your video,&nbsp;state&nbsp;your first and last name and the instrument you are playing. Example: \u201cHi, I\u2019m Matt Conaway, and I\u2019m auditioning on Trombone.\u201d&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Make sure your face and hands are visible as much as possible. If we&nbsp;can\u2019t&nbsp;verify what the keys are doing, we may ask you to&nbsp;resubmit.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You MAY record etudes and scales separately and splice together, but each song should itself be done in a single take.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Do not add any special audio effects or on-screen text. Keep it as simple as possible. No autotune, no AI! No metronomes!&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We recommend you upload the audition as an UNLISTED (not private) YouTube file. NOTE: if you make it \u201cpublic\u201d that means you are sharing your audition with everyone.
