Private Lessons/Applied Music

The Applied Music Studies program offers students private lessons on cello, clarinet, flute, guitar, horn, piano, trombone, trumpet, tuba, violin, and chamber music.  Instructors are professional musicians from the region. Lessons are scheduled on a semester basis.  Various lesson packages are offered on a noncredit basis with a special lab fee based on the number of lessons scheduled.  Students who play at an advanced level and are interested in receiving 1 hour of academic credit may register for BAND 12000 and must complete a jury/recital at the end of this semester.  Registering for BAND 12000 is by audition only.  Please contact Professor Adam Bodony (abodony@purdue.edu) to set-up an audition.

Students interested in the program should fill out the Registration Form found below and return it to the Purdue Bands & Orchestras main office, Elliott Hall of Music Room 135, prior to the beginning of each semester.  Further questions can be directed to Professor Adam Bodony.
