The Purdue Jazz Band will present music from the 1956 ground breaking Stan Kenton album. After 60 years, Kenton’s first album of Afro-Cuban style music still sounds fresh and exciting. “Cuban Fire” combines big-band jazz with genuine Latin-American rhythms in an authentic way.
