Friday, September 22
4:30 pm -6:30 pm:  Registration, Elliott Hall of Music Room 30
6:30 pm- 8:00 pm:  Alumni Band Music Rehearsal, Elliott Hall of Music Room 15
8:30 pm: Cocktail and Hors d’oeuvre Reception, Heddy Kurz Atrium in Neil Armstrong Hall of Engineering. Hors d’oeuvres provided. Cash bar available. *Please Note You Must Pre-Register for Reception
9:00 pm: Remarks
10:30 pm: Event Conclusion
Saturday, September 23 
11:15 am – Noon: Registration, Hull Field
  • TBS Kloset Open
  • Drill Charts Available
  • Instrument Check-Out
  • Music Not Provided. Please Print At Home.
12:10 pm: Joint Marching Rehearsal at Hull Field
1:10 pm: Alumni Band Rehearsal Concludes
1:15 pm: Lunch, Location TBD  *Please Note You Must Pre-Register
2:45 pm:  Alumni Band Parade Formation Lineup at Elliott Hall of Music
2:55 pm: Alumni Band Performance Enroute to Ross-Ade Stadium
4:00 pm: Kickoff
 7:30 pm or when game ends: Post-Game
  • Alumni Band Post Game Concert on the field of Ross-Ade Stadium with Purdue “All-American” Marching Band
  • Alumni Band marches to Elliott Hall of Music with run-in and Drum Major Breakdown
  • Instrument check-in will take place in Room 30 following the run-in.

 

Weekend Details
  • Times are subject to change. Should something change unexpectedly, you will be notified at registration or via e-mail.
  • Alumni who register to march and/or sit in the stands with the band do not need to purchase game tickets.  All guests will be required to purchase tickets.  The Alumni Band will be seated by the current undergraduate band (section 111-112).  To purchase discounted tickets for guests, click here.  Enter AAMB2017 when prompted for a promo code. 
  • The TBS Kloset will be available at both registrations for you to purchase flip folders, lyres, etc.  Cash only please.
  • Music and auxiliary routine videos will be made available one month prior to Homecoming. Music will not be provided during the weekend, thus please print off and bring with you. E-mail bandsinfo@purdue.edu for password.
  • Please note the required performance uniform. To purchase these items, click here.
    • Instrumentalists, BBD Crew, and Big Ten Flags- White Polo, White Alumni Band Cap, and Black Slacks.  Gold Performance Jacket is not required.
    • Drum Majors- Black Polo, White Alumni Band Cap, and Black Slacks. Gold Performance Jacket is not required.
    • Twirlers- Soloists wear appropriate attire custom to position. Twirling Team/Twirling Line- Black T-Shirt and Black Shorts or Pants (if cold).
    • Golduster Dance Team- Black T-Shirt and Black Shorts or Pants (if cold).
    • Golden Silks Color Guard- Black T-Shirt and Black Shorts or Pants (if cold)
  • Instrument check-in will take place in Room 30 following the run-in.
