Private Lessons/Applied Music

The Applied Music Studies program offers students private lessons on piano, guitar and chamber music.  Instructors are professional musicians from the region. Lessons are scheduled on a semester basis.  Various lesson packages are offered on a noncredit basis with a special lab fee based on the number of lessons scheduled.  Students who play at an advanced level and are interested in receiving 1 hour of academic credit may register for BAND 12000 and must complete a jury/recital at the end of this semester.  Registering for BAND 12000 is by audition only.  Please contact Professor Adam Bodony (abodony@purdue.edu) to set-up an audition.

Students interested in the program should fill out the Registration Form found below and return it to the Purdue Bands & Orchestras main office, Room 107 in Hagle Hall, prior to the beginning of each semester.  Further questions can be directed to Professor Adam Bodony.
