Chair’s Corner – January 2019

Brittany Vale

Whew, what a crazy last few weeks! Holidays, winter recess, SuccessFactors transition, electronic timekeeping, oh my!

But here’s the good news: we survived! And the overall feedback that we’ve been hearing in regards to SuccessFactors is positive. Employees are loving the ease of use and the graphical layout of the website. Which comes to much relief of all those working countless hours trying to get the system up and running smoothly for the mass return of Purdue employees the second week of January. APSAC would like to make a quick shout-out to all the teams dedicating blood, sweat, and tears to this huge transition. Bravo!

With any new implementation, there are going to be some growing pains and problems that arise. If you are having issues with either SuccessFactors or the web clock system, you can email hypercare@purdue.edu and they will assist you.

This transition was a giant leap for Purdue and helped us catch up to the digital age. Changes are difficult and scary at first, but I’m so glad to see that we are ready for great things and are willing to work together as a team to move our university in the right direction. Happy New Year, Purdue!
