ACT Combined English/Writing Score

Students who take the ACT's optional writing test will receive a combined English/writing score, which takes into account the English multiple-choice section of the test and the writing section of the same test. If you have taken the ACT multiple times, you may use your best ACT combined English/writing score for this section of the estimator and your best ACT composite score for that section of the estimator (above), whether or not the respective best scores were achieved on the same test date. The maximum possible combined English/writing score is 36.

*Although the writing test is optional for ACT test takers, it is not optional for admission to Purdue University Calumet.
