Our History<\/h2>\n \n \n\n

Founded in 1930, the Purdue University Airport was the country\u2019s first university-owned airport and serves as the cornerstone of the university\u2019s long aviation history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, the Purdue University Airport (LAF) serves commercial airline passengers, passenger and cargo charters, and military operators. It is the \u201clargest classroom on campus\u201d for more than 1,000 students in the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology.<\/p>\n\n\n
