The AfterClass Experience is a bold advancement of student co-curricular involvement opportunities designed to guide the intellectual and personal growth of undergraduate students. We are planning to launch AfterClass Experience for the fall, 2014 semester.
To achieve an Arts digital badge, you will need to complete a series of challenges in the AfterClass Experience. These challenges include things such as attending arts events. developing creative materials, participating in arts events/clubs/organizations, and/or raising awareness of the arts in the community. To complete this learning domain, complete any combination of the challenges listed on the Arts domain page in BoilerLink.
Appreciation of the arts developed through a student’s ability to evaluate a variety of different forms of art. Development of capacities for aesthetic and historical response and judgment, as evidenced by reflective writing, interpretation and evaluation, critical thinking, creative writing and critical listening.
RECORDING YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS
On-campus campus events and experiences will be submitted through BoilerLink.
- For on-campus events, swipe your Purdue PUID card and your attendance will automatically be recorded in the BoilerLink system, and will be used to advance your progress in completion of the domain.
- For experiences you want to have appear on your co-curricular transcript, submit the self-reported Arts experience form. Make sure you include any requested documentation and experience contact person in order to speed up the review of your experience.
