This department provides personalized medical and mental health services, which meet or exceed contemporary standards of care. This is accomplished through compassionate, empathic and caring medical, mental health, and health promotion services designed to meet the evolving needs of a dynamic campus community. By providing early and ongoing attention to both mental and physical health concerns, this department strives to optimize students’ educational experiences through graduation.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

Counseling And Psychological Services (CAPS) is committed to helping students benefit from their college experience. CAPS is committed to helping you achieve personal and academic success. Although CAPS works with students in crisis, our primary goal is to assist students with their concerns before they develop into more serious problems.

One way that students can do this is to talk to a therapist or psychologist in a supportive atmosphere to aid self-understanding and the resolution of personal issues.
