Section of Stadium Avenue scheduled to close for utility repairs
Updated March 14, 2025 to reflect a new schedule.
Stadium Avenue between University and Russell streets is currently closed for utility repairs. The closure is expected to last through Thursday morning (March 20).
Individuals traveling west along Stadium Avenue can utilize the following detour:- Turn north on John R. Wooden Drive
- Follow Tower Drive west
- Turn south on Steven Beering Drive to get back to Stadium Avenue
- Turn south on Russell Street
- Follow Sixth Street east
- Turn north on University Street to get back to Stadium Avenue
Bicycle lanes located along the south side of this section of Stadium Avenue will also be closed during this time. The sidewalk will remain open.
Motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians should use caution in the area, obey all posted signs and seek alternate routes.
