Administrative Operations reaches 29% of goal for United Way campaign, football-themed auction planned

Administrative Operations has reached 29%, or nearly $4,500, of its goal for this year’s Purdue University United Way Campaign. Administrative Operations has a fundraising goal of $15,000, which is part of Purdue’s overall goal to raise $725,000.

To help achieve the organization’s goal, a football-themed auction will be available during the AO Staff Appreciation Meal events on Oct. 20 and Oct. 21. The items below will be included in the auction:

  • A specialized tour of Ross-Ade Stadium that will include restricted areas, such as the press box and locker room
  • Two tickets to the home football game on Nov. 19 against the Northwestern Wildcats
  • A signed football from Head Coach Jeff BrohmAdministrative Operations has reached 29%, or nearly $4,500, of its goal for this year’s Purdue University United Way Campaign.

This auction is separate from the online auction currently underway by the University.

Also new this year, Administrative Operations will host a recognition event for all staff who donate to the campaign. The event will be held at Rack n Roll and Boiler Game Mine in the Purdue Memorial Union in December. More information about the event will be available soon.

As a reminder, there are several ways to donate to the campaign, including through the Purdue University United Way Campaign website with payroll deduction, credit card or Bill Me. Donors can choose to support United Way of Greater Lafayette or a specific agency.

AO employees who did not wish to donate are encouraged to visit the Purdue University United Way Campaign website and select the “I Don’t Wish To Give” button. This will help increase the organization’s participation rate.

Questions about the campaign and events may be directed to this year’s co-chairs for Administrative Operations, Brandi Jittjumnongk at brandij@purdue.edu or Lauren Stearns at lkglick@purdue.edu.
