Current Research Interests:
My current research in Dr. Majid Kazemian’s lab is in the field of gene expression regulation through non-coding genomic elements, such as enhancer and enhancer RNAs. The research models are the human immune system and cancer. We are “studying genome regulation in cancer and immune diseases by integrating computational and experimental approaches”. My research interests lie in the area of spatial and temporal gene expression under enhancer/eRNA regulation in immune system development and immune-related diseases. Another interest is to map the host and pathogen interaction in human cancers by cooperating high-throughput sequencing data mining and biological experimental investigating.
