English Proficiency Requirements

Doctoral and Master's Degree Program Requirements (Residential)
- Undergraduate Degree in One of the Following:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Computer Engineering
- Information Systems
- Informatics
- other computer-related field of study
- Cumulative Grade Point Average from most recently conferred undergraduate, graduate, or professional degree:
- 3.0 or equivalent (A=4.0)
- 15-18 credit hours of computational coursework
- Demonstration of a high level of competence in written communication as evidenced by a writing sample such as the statement of purpose, a prior thesis, a research paper, or other significant and personally written product.
Master's Degree Program Requirements (Online)
- Undergraduate Degree with a ccumulative Grade Point Average from most recently conferred undergraduate, graduate, or professional degree:
- 3.0 or equivalent (A=4.0)
- Six months – one year of IT industry experience is required for certain graduate certificate and master's programs. Please refer to program webpages for specifications.
Applied Data Analytics Graduate Certificate
