Poster judging will run from 9:30 a.m. &#8211; 11:30 a.m., but the posters will be up to view until 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All participants must be currently enrolled in a graduate program at the Purdue University West Lafayette or Indianapolis Campus.&nbsp; Some research might have previously been presented at another event, but the students must have made noticeable progress with their work since the last time they presented. The posters will be either a physical print or digital presentation as an individual or group presentation. All submissions will be reviewed by faculty and administrative judges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Posters will be displayed on 6&#215;4&#8242; boards, and magnets will be provided to help display your poster. Cocktail tables will be set up for those who elect to do a digital poster presentation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"purdue-home-tabs-horizontal__panel\" aria-labelledby=\"header-252a73da-89e8-43a9-b331-51a758f76a90-1\" id=\"panel-252a73da-89e8-43a9-b331-51a758f76a90-1\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Most Outstanding Interdisciplinary Project Award (MOIPA) is an award given to a recipient whose research is deemed, by a select&nbsp;faculty and administrative panel, to be particularly interdisciplinary, while making broader connections&nbsp;to the world.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong>Deadline for Submission: <\/strong><\/strong>Sunday, February 15th, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EST&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications for the Most Outstanding Interdisciplinary Project Award are now closed. The winner will receive&nbsp;a monetary award of $1,000 and a plaque and will serve as the student Keynote Speaker at the OIGP Spring Reception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MOIPA Application<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Submit the&nbsp;<strong>MOIPA Application&nbsp;AND<\/strong>&nbsp;complete&nbsp;a&nbsp;<strong>Poster Presentation Application<\/strong>&nbsp;by<strong>&nbsp;11:59 PM EST on Sunday, February 15th, 2026,&nbsp;<\/strong>in order to be considered for the Most Outstanding Interdisciplinary Project Award.<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Applicants for the MOIPA must be registered to present a poster at the OIGP Spring Reception.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The MOIPA&nbsp;application sections included in the application are as follows: project introduction; methodology; explanation of the interdisciplinary nature of the project; discussion on how work makes broader connections; sources\/citations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your statement should be written for an educated person who is not well-versed in the academic arena of the chosen project.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The winner of the MOIPA will be expected to deliver a&nbsp;keynote address&nbsp;at the OIGP Spring Reception. This will be a 15-20 minute talk including audio-visuals, followed by a 5-minute session for questions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants must be currently enrolled in a graduate program at the Purdue University West Lafayette or Indianapolis Campus to apply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Group Presentations<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If presenting as a group of multiple graduate students, you must indicate a lead author or individual otherwise responsible for receiving and distributing any potential monetary award amongst other eligible graduate student presentation authors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All graduate student authors must sign this application and agree that the Purdue University Office of Interdisciplinary Graduate Programs is not responsible for the division and distribution of award monies beyond providing them to the individual indicated on the MOIPA Application. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, with a focus on Operations Research and a concentration in Computational Engineering, from Purdue University, where his doctoral research developed efficient machine learning algorithms for influence maximization on social networks. His research focuses on the design and analysis of intelligent systems for strategic decision-making, resource allocation, and trustworthy AI. He integrates methods from machine learning, operations research, and causal inference to address challenges in algorithmic marketing, online learning, mechanism design for digital platforms, and the safety and controllability of generative AI models. His work bridges theoretical rigor with practical impact across marketing analytics, operations strategy, and public policy and has appeared in leading AI, machine learning, and operations venues. Her academic career began at Northern Illinois University where&nbsp;her undergraduate research focused on evaluating fine motor and spatial navigation deficits in rodent models of Alzheimer&#8217;s Disease, stroke, and galactic cosmic space radiation. Megan&#8217;s doctoral research in Dr. Maria Dadarlat&#8217;s lab in the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering uses a systems-neuroscience approach to investigate the neural mechanisms involved in bilateral limb coordination. My work spans adversary tracking, threat hunting, and intelligence operations. I graduated from Purdue University with a Master of Science in Information Security through the Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS). Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, where she developed quantitative imaging techniques for pulmonary disease.
