Andrews Environmental Travel Grant is designed for degree-seeking students enrolled in a graduate program who are researching various means of improving the global environment. Travel must be from January 1st  through December 31st, the year of application. Graduate students may receive the Frederick N. Andrews Environmental Grant only once. Applicants must be current graduate students at the time of travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Link<\/strong>: <em>Will be added when application is open<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong> Degree-seeking graduate students traveling between <strong>January 1 \u2013 December 31<\/strong>. Ismail Grant provides travel funding for doctoral students in interdisciplinary programs who are presenting their dissertation research at a national or international conference. The workshops are intended to foster growth in career preparation, mentorship, research &amp; ethics, communication, wellness, and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To encourage engagement, a $325 travel award will be given to the residential grad student(s) or postdoc(s) attending the most graduate school professional development workshops per semester. The Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Professional Development Travel Award must be used for academic or professional development-related travel. Graduate student recipients may use the award for all approved travel expenses such as airfare, mileage, hotel, per-diem, and registration. Additionally, recipients must use it within one year and must be an active graduate student or postdoctoral scholar in good standing at the time of travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Support<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>$325 travel award (must be used for academic or professional development-related travel)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Timeline<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There is no application process for this award. GRAC offers a wide array of grant programs to support graduate students in academic, professional, and personal transitions. Current funding opportunities include grants for <strong>conference travel<\/strong>, <strong>research projects<\/strong>, <strong>professional development<\/strong>, and <strong>transitional housing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grants can also be found through professional organizations, such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sigmaxi.org\/programs\/grants-in-aid-of-research\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.sigmaxi.org\/programs\/grants-in-aid-of-research\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sigma Xi Grants in Aid of Research<\/a>, foundations, and the private sector.
