International Scholar Services

Greetings from the Purdue University International Scholar Services team!

The International Scholar Services team is often one of the first administrative units that our international faculty, staff, postdocs and scholars encounter when they join Purdue University. We understand that the process of arriving at Purdue can be complicated, might be lengthy, and often seems bureaucratic. Our entire team is here to help you with a safe and easy transition!

During your time here, we understand and expect that the focus of your attention is on your professional and personal activities, and not necessarily on the details of your immigration paperwork. In these webpages, we hope you will find the answers you need about

  • Immigration aspects of your role at Purdue,
  • Traveling to and arriving at Purdue,
  • Your stay at Purdue, and the community in which you will live
  • Traveling during your stay at Purdue
  • Departing from Purdue (if applicable),
  • The specific immigration categories and processes we support.

Of course, if you can't find you answer here, please see our contact page to reach out to us directly.

Again — we are very excited to welcome you here, and we look forward to meeting you in person!
