Intercultural Pedagogy Tools

Welcome, Boilermakers. CILMAR is happy to be your one stop pedagogical shop for tools, activities, assessments and strategies to encourage intercultural learning. We are currently working on a web-based program called the Boiler Tank that will allow you to conveniently search our collection of resources and sort results based on a number of criteria, including cost, timing, type, purpose, topic, and more. For now, though, you can access some of our favorite external links to CILMAR resources below, or contact our experts at cilmar@purdue.edu for help finding intercultural resources.

Center for Instructional Excellence Faculty Resources

Purdue's CIE creates and hosts many resources for faculty who are interested in learning more about culture and its impact on the classroom, as well as the development of intercultural competency. CIE's many useful pedagogical tools related to InterCultural Learning include a number of short videos on Dimensions of Culture as well as the Global Learning Faculty Development Program. See the website of the Center for Instructional Excellence for more details.
