Engineering FYI: For Your Imagination

Save the Date: July 13, 2019

Engineering FYI: For Your Imagination is a FREE one-day on-campus event designed to increase interest in engineering among rising 7-9th grade students (completed 6-8th grade by summer of the event). The day features hands-on activities and interaction with current engineering students for participants and some activities for parents as well. 
  • Discover how your unique talents and interests can lead to an exciting engineering career!
  • Make new friends with current college students and fellow participants!
  • All participants will be connected to be trained engineering student mentors throughout the day!
  • Experience engineering through fun, hands-on activities!
  • Apply your imagination and creativity to hands-on projects with small teams of fellow participants.
  • Hone your leadership and teamwork skills as you learn how engineers shape our world.
  • Experience how engineers make a difference and how you can make a difference!
  • Lunch will be provided for participating students in our residence hall dining court.
  • Parents may attend an information session and visit workshops.
