Dear Engineering Graduate Student:

Are you interested in a program for graduate students who, like yourself, are motivated to achieve success personally, academically, and professionally? If so, join us in the Graduate Women in Engineering Network. This is a unique and exciting activity offered by the Women in Engineering Program (WIEP) at Purdue University.  It provides information and support to women in engineering throughout their graduate studies. You will find a supportive environment for networking with other female engineering students.
The GWEN Leadership Team has planned a fun and supportive program that will supplement your academic schedule with interactive activities. Here's what past participants liked about GWEN:
  • Learning new strategies to help with grad school/career and/or balancing life
  • Hearing about the experiences of a successful female engineer
  • Meeting new people
  • Enjoying a change from your daily routine
  • Affirmation & support from other female graduate students
  • Free yummy dinners!
  • Travel awards available!
Monthly meetings are a great place to interact with other graduate students from different engineering disciplines over a free meal and lively presentation from a guest speaker.
If you are interested in being a part of the Graduate Women in Engineering Network (GWEN), fill out the online form.
Thank you for your time and interest. If you have any questions, please contact us at  We hope to hear from you soon!
