Instructor-led Courses

Sessions to learn accessible Web design techniques have been scheduled for staff who design or develop Websites and have knowledge of HTML coding. These sessions will focus on some of the most common accessibility problems and how to correct them using appropriate HTML code. At the end of the session, you will be able to improve accessibility of your pages by:

  • using headings for document structure
  • including appropriate alt text on all images and image maps
  • designing with color blindness in mind
  • explicitly associating form labels with form fields
  • designating row and column headers in data tables
