Are You Passionate About Public Radio?
Please consider telling us your story!
WBAA is fortunate to have many loyal friends that advocate for our public radio station throughout the year. Now is your opportunity to share with us and others why public radio is so important to you and why you feel it should be supported with listener contributions.
Every fund drive, our challenge is to convince listeners that their donations matter and that they should become not just a listener, but a contributing member of the public radio station they listen to.
Would you like to try? Listener to listener, your reasons for why you listen and why you contribute could convince another listener to finally take the step to become a member of public radio.
Your few words could be what compels someone to pick up the phone and make a pledge or make a pledge online.
The materials you submit will be used during our fundraising periods and may appear on our website, on the air, and in WBAA membership materials. Or you could choose to just share your story with us.
For an example of a listener story see the
front page of our support section.

Ready to give it a try. You may use the form on this page or write to us at wbaa@wbaa.org.
Some questions to get you started.
- Why do you listen?
- What do you find valuable about the programming that WBAA provides for this community?
- If you volunteer or support the station with membership contributions, why do you do this?
- Do you think it is important for others to support public broadcasting - if so, why?
Thank you for all you contribute to WBAA.

Passionate Applause!
Share with us and others!
Are you passionate about public radio? Then consider telling us your story. First, make sure your story is framed in a concrete belief or conviction (we receive many wonderful stories that we are unable to use because they contain no statement of belief). Then, tell us a compelling story about how you came to hold that belief, or a time that belief was challenged, or how that belief shapes your daily activites. Try sharing one belief instead of composing a list of all of your beliefs.
If you would like to tell us why you love WBAA please complete the form below or email us at wbaa@wbaa.org
