Employee Award Program Criteria:
1. All regular Student Life employees, including Business Office, HR and IT are eligible.2. Employees may be nominated by a supervisor, co-worker, peer or student3. An employee must be in good standing to be eligible.4. Direct reports to the Vice Provost are not eligible.

1. An employee can be nominated for any of the 5 principles of the SLISU Award anytime throughoutthe calendar year. Nominations submitted will be good for that entire calendar year. Preference willbe given to nominations in that period, however consideration will be given to previousnominations within a calendar year if selection committee deems necessary.2. An employee may receive one award per calendar year.3. Award selections will happen quarterly in a calendar year.4. One A/P and one C/S staff member will be selected each quarter with the possibility of a thirdwinner for the “Excellence” award. The Excellence award will be given to an employee who hasdemonstrated all 5 principles at one time.5. Each quarterly winner will receive $750 and a certificate. The winner of the Excellence award willreceive $1000 and a plaque. Monetary awards will be “grossed up” so the winner receives the fulldollar amount on their paycheck. Awards will be presented by the Vice Provost and the recipients’supervisors at a small reception and all winners will be featured in a video for the VPSL website andState of the Division event.6. The Student Life Operations Committee will select award recipients from submitted nominations.Nomination Periods:
• First Quarter - March 1• Second Quarter - June 1• Third Quarter - September 1• Fourth Quarter - November 1
