be given to nominations in that period, however consideration will be given to previous
nominations within a calendar year if selection committee deems necessary.
2. An employee may receive one award per calendar year.
3. Award selections will happen quarterly in a calendar year.
4. One A/P and one C/S staff member will be selected each quarter with the possibility of a third
winner for the “Excellence” award. The Excellence award will be given to an employee who has
demonstrated all 5 principles at one time.
5. Each quarterly winner will receive $750 and a certificate. The winner of the Excellence award will
receive $1000 and a plaque. Monetary awards will be “grossed up” so the winner receives the full
dollar amount on their paycheck. Awards will be presented by the Vice Provost and the recipients’

State of the Division event.
6. The Student Life Operations Committee will select award recipients from submitted nominations.
