Smith-Orpurt brings impressive credentials
Laura Smith Orpurt joined the Purdue Convocations group as development associate on January 18. Smith-Orpurt has extensive work experience in both university and corporate settings. Most recently she served in a development role at Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management. She was an ESL teacher while living overseas in Singapore and has also held positions at Ascend Technologies, Allstate, Kemper, UNext.com and CNA. She is a Chicago native and received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
