ROTC Graduates Receive Presidential Commissions
In a ceremony at the Purdue Memorial Union North Ballroom on December 19, graduates of the Purdue Reserve Officers Training Corps received commissions from President Barack Obama in their respective services. Major General Erika C. Steuterman, USAF (Ret) gave the commissioning address and administered the oath of office on behalf of President Obama. The commissions were presented by Lieutenant Colonel Jerry D. Hubbard, U.S. Army, PMS; Captain Eugene W. Jones, U.S. Navy, PNS; and Colonel Thomas B. Fooninckx, U.S. Air Force, PAS.
