What is your favorite thing about Purdue?
I love the feel of the campus and all the Purdue spirit.
What was your favorite class?
I really enjoy all the education classes that pertain to my major and my future career. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed my Spanish Literature course that finished up my Spanish Certification. It was interesting analyzing literature in another language.
What are your favorite things about your program of study?
I love all the time I spend in the classroom. It is such a benefit to have that practice in the classroom to work on the teaching skills and strategies I am learning about.
What is your career goal?
I want to be an Elementary school teacher in the suburbs somewhere.
What would you tell prospective students about Purdue?
It's an absolutely amazing school with so many different ways to get involved. The courses are challenging but are definitely beneficial. People are so friendly and helpful and there's so much school spirit.
What is the most interesting thing you’ve learned or seen as a tour guide at Purdue?
I didn't realize that Purdue donated the airplane that Amelia Earhart flew around the world in, or that she was actually a faculty member at Purdue and lived in Windsor Hall. I also didn't know that the water tower used to be red and white before we finally changed it to something other than IU's colors.
What is your favorite spot on campus?
I love the fountain areas. The fountain by Beering is such a nice place to relax in the spring and fall to do some reading. I love sitting there with the sun shining and the fountain going. I like sitting there and relax before I go into an exam or an important meeting.
