FUTURE BOILERMAKERS: Middle School Campus Visit Program
Nearly 2,000 school-aged children attend Purdue's campus visit program for middle school students each year. The program encourages students to begin thinking about the possibilities that are theirs with a college education by experiencing what it's like to be a college student.
During the visit, students interact with Purdue students, watch and participate in a classroom activity, complete an exercise in a computer lab, visit a residence hall, walk the campus and even eat in a dining court.
Visit the online tour request form to schedule a date. The visit program starts between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. depending on the distance and time zone of the participating school. Please allow at least four hours on campus for students to experience the entire itinerary that is listed below. The program can be shortened for schools without the ability to stay for the recommended duration.
Note: Spring 2014 Middle School visits are full. To be added to a waiting list for Fall 2014, please contact Andrea Yeoman, (765) 494-9550.
