The Purdue Welcome Center provides campus walking tours for small groups (fewer than 10), including prospective graduate students, by appointment on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and at 10 a.m. on Saturdays when school is in session. Led by Purdue student ambassadors, the walking tours typically last an hour and cover the central area of campus.
Stop by the Welcome Center, located on the main level of the Purdue Memorial Union, 101 N. Grant St. (Room 110), at the designated times to tour the campus. You may also visit the online tour request page to view a calendar of available tour dates.
Note: A campus tour is offered as part of the Office of Admissions daily visit program for all prospective undergraduate students. High school and transfer students and groups of students from high schools should schedule their visit through the Office of Admissions.
Campus riding tours are available for groups of all sizes. Four weeks' advance notice is greatly appreciated.
Note: If you would like to arrange a riding tour, but do not have a vehicle to accommodate your group, the Welcome Center can arrange a rental for you through Purdue's Transportation Services.
To view a calendar of available tour dates, visit our request a tour page and enter the type of tour you are seeking. Use the comments section of the tour request form to indicate your desire for a riding tour.
