Guided Tours

Walking Tour

The Purdue Welcome Center provides campus walking tours for small groups (less than 10), including prospective graduate students, departing at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and at 10:30 a.m. on Saturdays when the semester is in session. Led by Purdue student ambassadors, the walking tours typically last an hour and cover the central region of campus.

Stop by the Welcome Center, located on the main level of the Purdue Memorial Union - 101 N. Grant Street (Room 110), at the designated times to tour the Purdue campus. You may also visit the online tour request page to view a calendar of available tour dates.

Note: A campus tour is offered as part of the daily visit program for all prospective undergraduate students. High school and transfer students and groups of students from high schools should schedule their visit through the Office of Admissions.

Riding Tour

Campus riding tours are available for groups of all sizes. Four weeks advance notice is greatly appreciated. Note: If you would like to arrange a riding tour, but do not have a vehicle to accommodate your group, the Visitor Center can arrange a rental for you through Purdue’s Transportation Services.

To view a calendar of available tour dates, visit our request a tour page and enter what type of tour you are seeking. Use the comments section of the tour request form to indicate your desire for a riding tour.

Large Group Tour

Visitors coming to campus in large groups (10 or more) should schedule their visit through Purdue’s Welcome Center. Note: One exception is high school groups, which should schedule their visit through Purdue’s Office of Admissions.

Campus walking tours for large groups are offered throughout the year when school is in session. Complete the Visitor Center online tour request page to schedule your large group visit. Four weeks advance notice is greatly appreciated.
