GI Bill

The GI Bill® is a group of benefits available to veterans, service members and immediate family members. Once individuals have earned the GI Bill through their service, the next step is to apply to use the benefit with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Once you receive a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) from the VA, present your COE to staff in Purdue's Veterans Success Center to finalize the certification process.

  • Post 9/11 GI Bill—Chapter 33
  • Yellow Ribbon Program
  • Montgomery GI Bill for Active Duty (MGIB-AD)—Chapter 30
  • Montgomery GI Bill for Selected Reserves (MGIB-SR)—Chapter 1606
  • Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E)—Chapter 31
  • Post 9/11 GI Bill Transfer of Entitlement (TOE-approved by the Department of Defense)
  • Fry Scholarship
  • Dependent Education Assistance Program (DEAP)—Chapter 35
