Supervises Utility Plant operations to ensure campus utility distribution systems are provided steam, electricity, chilled water, and compressed air in an efficient and reliable manner.

Directly supervises plant operations, shift personnel, and equipment activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of plant production output to campus distribution systems.

Manages maintenance workforce and directs preventative and corrective maintenance repair activities to ensure safe, reliable operation of Utility Plant mechanical equipment and systems.

Supervises Utility Plant maintenance to ensure campus utility distribution systems are provided steam, electricity, chilled water, and compressed air in an efficient and reliable manner.

Manages Instrumental and Electrical support workforce and directs preventative and corrective maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable operation of Utility Plant instrumentation and electrical equipment and systems.

Provides engineering support, programming, and project management for plant control systems including programmable controllers, distributed control systems, and data collection.

Coordinates and manages Utility Plant major projects and major maintenance items.

Assists and backs up the Operations Supervisor.  Develops, coordinates, and presents training programs for professional development of Utility Plant personnel.

Provides accounting, clerical, computer, and inquiry handling support for Utility Plant.
