Scholarships
There are a number of scholarships available
to USP students: Grace Freshman Scholar Award (only for USP students)

Grace
Freshman Scholar Award
This award recognizes
the outstanding academic achievement and strong extracurricular
and community involvement of an incoming USP student. Special
emphasis is placed on the leadership roles the student has
had both in school and in the community.
Awarded to an incoming first-year USP student
Minimum SAT (CR+M) of 1250, ACT composite of 28, or National
Merit finalist
Applications must be postmarked by February 2 of the
year the student enters Purdue University
Total award of $1000 (non-renewable)
Recipients of either a Trustees or Presidential Scholarship are not eligible to receive the Grace Award

Purdue
Employees Federal Credit Union (PEFCU) Citizenship Awards
This award recognizes
the outstanding community
involvement and strong academic achievement of an incoming USP student. Special emphasis is
placed on good citizenship and how active the student has
been in her/his school and home community.
Awarded to two incoming first-year USP students
Minimum SAT (CR+M) of 1200, ACT composite of 26, or National
Merit finalist
Applications must be postmarked by February 2 of the
year the student enters Purdue University
Total award of $1000 (non-renewable)
Recipients of either a Trustees or Presidential Scholarship are not eligible to receive the PEFCU Citizenship Award

Trustees Scholarship
Criteria -
High School GPA of 3.8 on 4.0 scale plus an SAT of 2000 or higher or a score of 30 or higher on both the ACT composite and ACT writing. Purdue will calculate student GPA based on grades in core academic coursework as provided on the final junior year transcript. Purdue also will determine the qualifying coursework, which will include math, science, English, social studies, and foreign language.
Value - Non-Indiana residents: $10,000 per year ($40,000 total value); Indiana residents: $8,000 per year ($32,000 total value)
Deadline - Complete admission application must be on file in the Office of Admissions by November 15. No separate scholarship application necessary.
Renewability - Renewable for up to four years of continuous, full-time enrollment at Purdue University's West Lafayette campus. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA to renew each year.
Presidential Scholarship
Criteria -
High School GPA of 3.8 on 4.0 scale plus an SAT of 1850-1990 or an ACT composite of 27-29 and an ACT writing of 28-29. Purdue will calculate student GPA based on grades in core academic coursework as provided on the final junior year transcript. Purdue also will determine the qualifying coursework, which will include math, science, English, social studies, and foreign language.
Value - Non-Indiana residents: $7,000 per year ($28,000 total value); Indiana residents: $5,000 per year ($20,000 total value)
Deadline - Complete admission application must be on file in the Office of Admissions by November 15. No separate scholarship application necessary.

Beering Scholars Program
The Beering Scholars program offers Purdue's top applicants a full-ride scholarship that covers all expenses through both the undergraduate and graduate work at Purdue. Each year, the top 80-100 high school seniors who have been admitted to Purdue by the first week in December may be invited to apply for Beering Scholarships. From those who respond, two to ten are selected as Beering Scholars.
The Purdue Opportunity Award (POA) is a four-year scholarship program granted to Indiana, first-time college students who might not consider Purdue University due to financial constraints. Purdue provides a scholarship of up to $3000 each year towards the student's cost of attendance for full-time enrollment at Purdue, West Lafayette. In order to remain in the POA program students must maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative gpa at the end of each academic year.

ROTC Scholarships
Through the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) programs, students can earn a degree and a commission as an officer in the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps. ROTC programs offer scholarships ranging from one to four years. ROTC Merit Scholarships also are available from Purdue. Four-year scholarships provide tuition, fees, books, and a variable monthly allowance.
