Advice for Boilermakers

I love school. (That’s why I work at one!) And you should too, while you’re here at Purdue. Go to class. Do the work. Get to know your professors (and me!). Stay on campus during the weekends. Take care of yourself. Find something you’re passionate about. Discover who you are. All students are inherently UNDECIDED… just go with it. Celebrate your “USP-ness.” Enjoy your independence. Act responsibly. Join a club, a sport, a student organization, or some group that interests you. Just do SOMETHING! And oh yeah… have fun.

Fun Facts

Self-proclaimed nerd here, I sometimes fancy myself a superhero of sorts, saving the lives of my students. I will spend hours talking with you about movies, books, my family, my doggies, anything Star Wars related, and life in general. I probably spend as much time on facebook as students do. My Mom and Dad are my role models. I watch The Office obsessively. I have a love/hate relationship with myPurdue. I am living proof that your college major does NOT have to match your career. I will remind you of this over and over and over again.
