Holidays Around the World took place Dec. 8 in the Union's Great Hall as part of Purdue's Holidays at the Union celebration on Dec. 6-19, which featured a 25-foot Christmas tree, singers from the community and schools, and a life-size gingerbread house.

The chefs said they have to touch up the creation every morning because people come in and take off some of the goodies used to decorate the structure. The house was built in the Great Hall as part of Purdue's Holidays at the Union celebration on Dec. 6-19, which featured a 25-foot Christmas tree.
