WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The Purdue University Army ROTC Rifle and Pistol Team will go head to head against Western Michigan University on Friday (Nov. 17) in a precision-fire challenge.

The match will start at 4 p.m. in the Purdue Armory.

Teams will fire precision small-bore .22 caliber rifles from kneeling, standing and prone positions, said Purdue's Rifle and Pistol Team Captain Cadet Matt Patten, a junior in the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology in the College of Technology from Cloverdale, Ind.

Each university will field one four-person team as well as several individual shooters for the match.
