Purdue residence hall elects leaders
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The Itasca Club of Purdue University's Amelia Earhart Residence Hall elected its new club officers for the 2006-07 academic year.
The Itasca Club is the governing body for the 786 residents of Amelia Earhart Residence Hall. The officers were elected by the club's senators.
The club presents a variety of activities, provides services for students living in the hall and works to promote of a sense of community among the residents and staff.
"These students will experience repeated opportunities to develop and employ leadership skills that will serve them well no matter what career they pursue after leaving Purdue," said Debbie Anderson, Earhart Hall's residential life manager.
