Assembly to include information for student organizations
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University student leaders will have a chance during a Sept. 13 assembly to meet with representatives from the Office of the Dean of Students.The Student Organization Assembly will take place at 6 p.m. in the Purdue Memorial Union North Ballroom. All Purdue student organization presidents are invited to attend.
Kauline Davis, assistant to the provost, is scheduled to speak to students at the assembly.
During the program, student leaders will receive updated information and learn new policies that pertain to student organizations. They also can meet with Dean of Students representatives to find out how to plan student organization meetings, outings and recreational events.
A resource fair will be offered after the assembly and dinner. A number of campus departments and organizations — including Information Technology at Purdue, Purdue Police Department, Purdue Memorial Union catering, eBoard and the student activities business office — will be represented at the resource fair.
