Purdue Musical Organizations to hold Kids Choir auditionsWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. Purdue Musical Organizations will offer children a chance to audition next month for the 73rd Annual Christmas Show.
"The PMO Kids Choir is a big commitment, but it's a great experience for the children," said Brian Breed, director of Purdue Musical Organizations. "We need kids who can sing, move and perform with great attitudes and lots of energy." A parent or guardian must accompany their child to the audition at 3 p.m. Each child auditioning must also bring a written recommendation letter from a teacher, preferably a music teacher. At the audition, children will be taught a song and dance routine in a group setting. Then each child will perform the routine as the audition piece. The Purdue Christmas Show, which is viewed by more than 30,000 people each year, will run from Dec. 8-10. For information, call Purdue Musical Organizations at (765) 494-3941.
