Convocations performance of 'Teatro Delusio' canceled

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Familie Flöz, a German theater group, has canceled its U.S. tour that included a Feb. 8 stop at Purdue University.

The company, scheduled to perform the work "Teatro Delusio" at Loeb Playhouse, was part of Purdue Convocations' 2006-07 Center Stage series.

"Our audience has consistently demonstrated strong interest in all aspects of theater, so I'm disappointed that we won't be able to share the brilliant masks and uncanny humor of Familie Flöz with them," said Purdue Convocations director Todd Wetzel.

Patrons who have ordered tickets for the Center Stage series or single tickets for the performance will receive a refund check for this performance or will not have their credit card charged, Wetzel said. If other tickets were ordered, the refund will be included with those tickets.

For information, contact the Purdue Convocations office at (765) 494-9712.
