Senior selected as representative to Purdue Alumni Association board

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Megan Keffaber, a senior in the Krannert School of Management from North Manchester, Ind., has been selected as the Class of 2006 representative to the Purdue Alumni Association board.

She will represent young alumni by serving on the board of directors, the official governing body of the alumni association. In addition to being a voting member of the board, the class representative also serves on the Young Alumni Advisory Council.

Keffaber was involved in a variety of activities and organizations during her years at Purdue, including the President’s Leadership Class, Old Masters, United Way of Greater Lafayette, Purdue Foundation Student Board, Mortar Board, Alpha Chi Omega and Gimlet Leadership Honorary. She also was involved in the London Internship Program for Purdue Study Abroad and was a Habitat for Humanity volunteer. In addition, she received the Charles O. McGaughey Leadership Award this spring.

She will graduate in May and will begin a job as a financial analyst in the oral care business unit of Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati.

The Purdue Alumni Association Board of Directors is comprised of representatives from around the country who convene in West Lafayette three times each year to discuss issues that have a direct effect on association, the university and its alumni.
