Second City touring company to make stop at PurdueWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. The touring group of the famous sketch and improvisational comedy group Second City will perform at 7:30 p.m. Feb 25 in Purdue University's Loeb Playhouse.The performance will feature some of the best sketches, songs and improvisations from Second City's 46-year history and is sponsored by Purdue Student Union Board. For more than 30 of those years, Second City has taken its act on the road, performing at universities, theaters and other venues. "Second City has become the premier training ground for some of comedy's best-known performers," said Margie Stoltz, Purdue Student Union Board program adviser. "The group's alumni list includes John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Tina Fey, Gilda Radner, Mike Myers, John Candy, Eugene Levy, Chris Farley and many others." Ticket sales begin Monday in the Loeb Ticket Office in Stewart Center. Admission is $15 for students with a Purdue ID and $20 for the general public.
