UPDATE! Non-essential computing services temporarily offline

Information Technology at Purdue (ITaP) experienced a critical cooling problem in its data center that forced some computer systems to be shut down. The equipment taken offline included redundant systems and test equipment. Web and e-mail systems were not affected.

Chilled water services were restored to the data center, and there are no plans to take additional services offline.
