Faculty and staff honors

– William E. (Bill) Walker, custodian for the Purdue Armory, received the Janitor of the Year Award from the Janitor Day Club during a ceremony Sunday (Dec. 11) at the Tippecanoe County Library. Walker was a member of the 209th Quartermaster Company and previously was a custodian for Purdue's Physical Facilities Service Building and for the Liberal Arts and Education Building, now known as Steven C. Beering Hall.
