December 7, 2005 NSF to offer open house for researchersWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. Officers from the National Science Foundation will be on the Purdue University campus this month to discuss programs and funding opportunities. All interested researchers at Purdue and across the state are invited to the open house. No appointments are needed, but if a participant would like to arrange a specific time, they can contact Christal Musser in botany and plant pathology at (765) 494-4646 or musser@purdue.edu. NSF officers will be available from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Dec. 16 in Room 120 of Pfendler Hall of Agriculture, 715 W. State St. The NSF officers who will be in attendance are: Machi Dilworth, division director for biological infrastructure. Jane Silverthorne, program director for the plant genome research program. Diane Jofuku Okamuro, program director for the plant genome research program. Gary Thompson, program director for integrative organismal biology.
