Jo Dee Messina appearance at Purdue canceled

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Jo Dee Messina concert scheduled for Oct. 29 at Purdue University's Elliott Hall of Music has been canceled.

The concert was to be presented by Purdue Convocations and feature Sugarland as the special guests. The event is being canceled due to scheduling conflicts.

"It is unfortunate that the show is being canceled. It would have been a great a concert," said Katie Hutton, director of marketing for Purdue Convocations. "Jo Dee Messina and Sugarland will be performing at Emens Auditorium on the Ball State campus in early November. That is close enough that fans could certainly go there for the show."

Ticket buyers who purchased tickets from Ticketmaster must return tickets through Ticketmaster to receive a refund. Tickets purchased at Purdue campus box offices must be returned to campus box offices to receive a refund. Campus box offices are located in Elliott Hall of Music and the lobby of Stewart Center and can be reached by calling (765) 494-3933. All tickets must be returned by Dec. 2.
