Purdue graduate to receive propulsion award

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Kevin Miller, a former Purdue University engineering student who graduated in May with a master's degree in aeronautics and astronautics, will receive a 2005 Liquid Propulsion Student Award this month from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Miller, who is from Goshen, Ind., now works for a California aerospace company. He will receive the award during the Joint Propulsion Conference, which will take place in Tucson, Ariz., from July 10-13. The awards are given to outstanding students specializing in liquid propulsion.
