June job fair announced – 15 life sciences-related jobs open at Purdue Research Park

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – More than a dozen jobs are up for grabs at the first Purdue Research Park Life Sciences Mini Career Fair on Tuesday (June 7) from 1-5 p.m.

The job fair, sponsored by Purdue Research Foundation, will be held in the large conference room of the Purdue Technology Center, the research park's flagship business incubator located at 3000 Kent Ave. in West Lafayette. Three life sciences companies, with openings in the fields of chemistry, quality assurance, quality control and manufacturing, will participate. They are:

  • The Chao Center for Industrial Pharmacy and Contract Manufacturing, a newly completed Purdue University-affiliated pharmaceutical manufacturing center that combines pharmaceutical manufacturing and development with education. The company is seeking an analytical chemist, senior analytical chemist, quality-assurance specialist, facilities technician and manufacturing technician.
  • Endocyte Inc., a company that is developing a new generation of receptor-targeted therapeutics for the treatment of cancer and autoimmune diseases. The firm is seeking a synthetic organic chemist, analytical chemist, process chemist, biochemist, a high-performance liquid chromatography technician, cell biologist and animal pharmacologist.
  • QuadraSpec Inc., a firm that is developing a bioCD system capable of scanning biological samples to test for unique molecules that enable the inexpensive diagnosis of diseases. The firm is seeking an analytical chemist, lead assay chemist and manufacturing chemist.

Recruiters are seeking candidates who have recently graduated from bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs as well as candidates with career experience. Although individual interviews will not be conducted during the fair, job seekers will have the opportunity to speak with company representatives, ask questions about the firms and job openings, and submit resumes.
