Media AdvisoryMay 11, 2005 WHAT: Media day for annual Farm Management Tour Media are invited to participate in an advance tour of farms in Scott and Clark counties that are included in this year's Purdue Farm Management Tour. The tour includes stops at family-owned farms, restaurants and woodworking shops. Farm operators will give presentations and speak with reporters wanting to work on advance stories about the public tour on June 28-29. WHEN: Wednesday, June 1 Purdue vans will leave from the Krannert Building dock at 7:15 a.m. (EST). Reporters who would like to ride in a van should call Sandy Dottle at (765) 494-4248 before May 23. Clark County observes daylight-saving time, but all times are listed as Eastern Standard Time. The tour schedule is as follows: 10:30 a.m. - Comer Farm, 3610 South state Route 3, Scottsburg. 12:15 p.m. - Joe Huber Restaurant, 2421 Scotsville Road., Starlight. 1:15 p.m. - Joe Huber Family Farm, 2421 Scotsville Road., Starlight. 2 p.m. - Huber Orchard and Winery, 19816 Huber Road., Starlight. 2:45 p.m. - Koetter Woodworking, Clark County, 533 Louis Smith Road., Starlight.
