Purdue to present interactive dinner theater at Union

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Purdue Student Union Board will present "Murder Me Always," a mystery dinner theater production, on Feb. 11-13 in the Purdue Memorial Union Faculty Lounge.

Tickets for the 6:30 p.m. student-produced performances will be on sale through Friday (Feb. 4) in Room 268 of the Union. While the Feb. 11 and 12 performances already are sold out, the cost for admission and dinner for the Feb. 13 performance is $18 for Purdue students with university identification cards and $28 for the general public.

"Murder Me Always," written by Lee Mueller, is an interactive murder mystery that features no fewer than 10 suspects in a fast-paced and humorous mystery-inside-a-mystery adventure. In it, cast members from a theater production of a murder mystery find themselves in the midst of a "real" murder mystery when one cast member is killed "offstage" during a performance.

Audience members are encouraged to participate by gathering clues to determine the murderer or murderers as well as their victim. Some audience members also will be drawn into the performance itself as the plot unfolds.

Entrée choices include chicken Parmesan and vegetarian lasagna, which is meatless but does contain cheese. Dinner also includes soup, salad and a dessert.
