Krannert School undergrad team makes case over IU

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – A team of Purdue University Krannert School undergraduate management majors triumphed over the competition from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business in the annual business case competition that took place Nov. 5-6 in Indianapolis.

Making up the winning Purdue team were Maria Reverdatto, Jonathan Payne, Robert Stuart and Robert Riley.

The competition, which took place at the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Business School, was a "live" case dealing with the prospects for FinishMaster Inc., a publicly traded distributor of automotive paints and coatings based in Indianapolis. FinishMaster provided judging, and the company's senior vice president and vice president of finance and chief financial officer participated in a question-and-answer session with the student teams.

The judges lauded the winning Purdue team for its financial content. Four Krannert School teams participated in the competition.
